There is a prevalent idea circulating in religious groups that Christianity is not based on reason and logic, but on faith and belief. In reality, biblical faith and belief should never be separated from proper reasoning and logical thinking. Paul stated that he spoke the words of "truth and reason" (Acts 26:25). "Truth" is how things really are. "Reason" is correct thinking about the truth. Christians are called to hold firmly to both.
