Every commandment God has given us is for "our good always" (Deuteronomy 6:24). Sometimes, following God's instructions might not feel "good," but God wants what is best for all His people, and He knows the best way to achieve that. Church discipline is one of the hardest, but most loving and powerful, actions that Christians can take to show their love for each other and God.
