Cherie grew up in a ministry family, also spending time in the mission field. There were many struggles and many blessings. She knows trust in God! Psalm 46. Time at Freed-Hardeman University earned her an MRS degree. She married gospel preacher Mike Vestal in 1983. Together they have two faithful children, two wonderful in-loves, and five amazing grandchildren. She knows joy! Psalm 34:3. Cherie’s participation in the Lord’s church includes teaching children and ladies. She and Mike have most recently worked with the Westside church in Midland, Texas, for over 25 years. There have been opportunities to encourage ladies in many places! Her goal is to always point to Jesus. She knows endurance! Nehemiah 8:10. In her leisure time -ha- she enjoys time outside in God’s world, or reading a good book with a cup of something warm. Cherie believes, “‘Tis grace has brought me safe thus far, and grace will lead me home.” She knows Jesus! Psalm 115:1.
