About me
Michael Brown (Mike) serves as a deacon at the Oak Grove congregation in Oak Grove, Missouri, with his area of focus being communications and technology. He also works with Polishing the Pulpit each summer to oversee the session recordings for the events. Michael grew up in southeastern Ohio and earned an associate degree in arts from Ohio Valley College. He then went on to complete a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications, with a focus on Radio and Television Production, from Oklahoma Christian University. Michael is married to Renée, and they are the parents of one adult son, Jonathan.
He is the Manager of Broadcast Engineering at Spectrum News Kansas City. With over 30 years in the television news and sports broadcasting industry, his career has encompassed a variety of roles involving every aspect of television broadcast production.
